What's the difference between sending a High Five and Saying Hi?

Sending a High Five to someone lets that person know you are interested in connecting. By clicking the Say Hi button, you are able to send a direct message to that person. If two people have sent mutual High Fives, they may chat without restrictions. If you Say Hi to someone you have not mutually High Fived, that person has the choice to Accept or Reject your message.

Panion needs access to your photos in order for you to upload a profile picture to the app.

Search & Keywords

How can I search for specific types of people on Panion?

Panion offers a filter feature in the upper right hand corner of the main feed. This feature allows you to find people based on certain criteria, like interest,  age, gender, or distance from you.

Why can’t I find the keyword I want?

Panion is a user-generated app. We encourage you to make new keyword requests and to help us shape and grow the app in the direction that is most useful for you. We started the app with a set group of keywords in order to ensure that people could match and find each other. As Panion grows, more possibilities will emerge.

Problems within the app

The app is freezing or crashing.

We are working as fast as possible to squash them, but please help us out by reporting them to the support team (connect@panion.io). If you encounter a problem, first try closing the app and reopening it again. Otherwise, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
